When:   Sat, February 18, 10am – 3pm
Where:  Communications Workers of America (CWA), Local 3108 Union Hall, 2220 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL (mapDescription:  Sierra Club Central Florida Group — Florida Sierra Club is holding a legislative training class in Orlando.  The class will be presented by Fla. Sierra Club lobbyist, David Cullin. This is an interactive session where volunteer members and supporters will be provided the resources to use when meeting with our elected representatives. No matter how much experience you have, this is the chance for you to learn to speak up! Loan your voice to protect the environment, in all its glory, or support citizen access to voting.

    I am unable to attend due to a commitment to the Patriot Guard, my major volunteer activity. However, I have a number of concerns, and hope you will be offering this training again. I need something more effective than railing on facebook against legislative inaction concerning the repair of Okeechobee and the Everglades.
