Planned Parenthood “National Day of Protest”

Posted on

planned-parenthoodWe have experienced attacks against women’s access to health care and would be grateful to have you join us as a symbol of silent solidarity. We stress silence because we are not counter protesting; we are displaying the broad support for Planned Parenthood and our patients through ensuring that access to care is not blocked.

  • When: Feb 11th, 8:30am-12:30pm
  • Where: Kissimmee Health Center
  • Address: 610 Oak Commons Blvd, Kissimmee, Florida 34741
  • What to Wear: Please wear pink or a Planned Parenthood shirt if you have one
  • What to Bring: Water
  • Where to Park: You can park in the lot or on the street right before turning into the health center lot! Since parking will always be a concern, we suggest carpooling if you can!
  • What to Expect:
    • When you arrive on site you will see a check in table; you will sign in and if you are a new volunteer will need to sign paperwork regarding patient privacy. We will provide you with a sign, role, and placement. If you have a c3 Planned Parenthood sign or a sign that is not offensive or partisan you are welcome to bring that.
    • Protesters will likely line along the public sidewalk. We will stand opposite to them, protecting access to our driveways and showcasing strong support of Planned Parenthood.
    • Note that we do not engage with protester activity.
